General Project Management requires general business knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process including:
- Organizing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
- Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
- Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing projects on time and to budget
- May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
- On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables
Manages and oversees the implementation of short-term activities within the team. Decisions are of an operational nature within a defined scope. Positions on this level deliver their share of professional responsibilities focusing on professional excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting operations, employee lifecycle processes, or HR transformation initiatives.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of project management experience, preferably within a BPO, contact center, shared services, outsourcing, or high-volume operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and HR reporting.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, senior leaders, vendors, and operational teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and project tracking tools; experience with HRIS, ATS, or workforce platforms preferred.
Prefered Qualifications:
- Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
- Experience supporting global, multi-site, remote, or hybrid BPO operations.
- Experience with HR process improvement, automation, dashboard reporting, system implementations, or organizational change initiatives.
- Familiarity with client-facing service delivery environments, SLAs, KPI governance, and operational ramp planning.
