Senior Payroll Executive

Apply Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensure accruate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and changes to pay rates
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wages and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, system and procedures.
- Support payroll related continuous improvement projects.
- Assist in providing Payroll standard and ad hoc reports as required by the corporate office, management and local regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with the payroll manager and internal stakeholders on issues relating to payroll.
- Ensure proper documentation and record management for future audit purposes.
- Any other relevant tasks which are assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Required Education Skills & Experiences:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Adminstration, Human Resources or Equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of payroll related experience required.
- Able to handle private and confidential data.
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Team player.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Effective communication and cross functional team skills.
