Senior Payroll Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensure accruate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and changes to pay rates
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wages and hour laws and best practices.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, system and procedures.
  • Support payroll related continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist in providing Payroll standard and ad hoc reports as required by the corporate office, management and local regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with the payroll manager and internal stakeholders on issues relating to payroll.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record management for future audit purposes.
  • Any other relevant tasks which are assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Required Education Skills & Experiences:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Adminstration, Human Resources or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll related experience required.
  • Able to handle private and confidential data.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Effective communication and cross functional team skills.
